The DILG-ARMM conducted its three-day Roadmap Refinement and Finalization for the 2016-2019 through series of workshops which was held at the Municipal Hall of Upi Conference Room dated August 5-7, 2016. The aim was to finish the roadmap setting for the year 2016 to 2019 which was initially conducted in the Bajau Hall Conference Room, Office of the Regional Governor, dated July 23-24, 2016.
Regional Secretary, Atty. Noor Hafizullah “Kirby” M. Abdullah, Assistant Regional Secretary, Dr. Sharifa Pearlsia A. Dans, the Director III, Engr. Khalid S. Dumagay, Director II, Lininding M. Lao, the Regional Division Chiefs, Fausiah R. Abdula of LGOD and Tonina M. Mabang of LGDD, and their technical staff, and the Provincial Directors of ARMM and their technical staff, and Atty. Suharto “Theng” Ambolodto, DILG-ARMM consultant.
Aside from the activity focusing in the roadmap planning, the Municipality of UPI was intended to be chosen as the venue of the department for the purpose of knowing the factual basis behind the distinguished award of recognitions and successful leadership of the mayor.
“We are happy because you choose the Municipality of UPI as the venue of your planning activity,” said Ramon A. Piang, Sr., the Mayor of UPI. “This is a good cause for the agencies to actually see the improvement and beauty of our municipality,” he added.
“We are here in the municipality of UPI to make our three-year planning and capacity building for us to make a difference for our people in terms of good governance,” ASec. Dr. Sharfa Pearlsia A. Dans pointed. “The road may be bumpy but, if we are united and together, we will succeed,” she stressed.
“A roadmap is a graphical and diagrammatic representation of where we are and where we want to be,” uttered Atty. Suharto “Theng” Ambolodto.
The output of the roadmap pointed on strengthening and empowering internal organization, successful conduct of programs, projects, and activities and LGUs’ functionality.
