The DILG-ARMM conducted a three (3) day Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams (BPATs) orientation-training, and Barangay Tanod Skills Enhancement. The

said program was conducted in the Province of Basilan, particularly at Formation Center, Isabela Proper, Isabela City on February 13-15, 2016, and in the Province of Tawi-Tawi, especially at Beachside Inn, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi on February 16-18, 2016.

The purpose of the said project was to strengthen the four hundred (400) BPATs member as the first line of defense in the barangay to maintain peace and order in their areas.
