Atty. Noor Hafizullah “Kirby” M. Abdullah, the DILG-ARMM Regional Secretary called an early meeting at 8:00 o’clock in the morning on January 23, 2018 with the department’s directors, division chiefs, regional focal persons and officers to discuss on identifying the reporting system for clearer flow of information.
“In every end of the month, there must be a tangible report on the motion of every Program, Projects and Activities (PPAs) by the responsible officers holding it,” he emphasized.
Regarding the conduct of the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC), a program lodged in the Local Government Monitoring and Evaluation Division (LGMED) of the department, the Regional Secretary directed to come up with a system before, during and after the implementation of the activity for its harmonious effect.
It was agreed that every month there must be a management letter address to the Local Government Units (LGUs) to remind of their mandated duties, and a letter addressed to the Office of the President (OP) would be followed should the LGUs failed to respond to the letter.
It was concurred that all activities should be documented through post activity report.
There must be documentation template as part of the system, the Regional Secretary’s concern.
